How We Can Help Your Church
Missions 3.0 is a framework for doing missions in the 21st Century in which the end goal is all about lasting change. How can church missions become a catalyst for lasting, self-sustaining change for people caught in material poverty? Missions 3.0 gives a church a UNIFYING FRAMEWORK and a COMMON LANGUAGE upon which to build a SHARED VISION for missions. It is our experience that as a church becomes more adept at this kind of mission work it becomes more relevant and credible to its own community, more fulfilling to both pastor and people and more genuine and appealing to those on the margins looking for a reason to attend a church.

Significant Matters: Planned Use of EquityVest Profits
EquityVest is a for-profit, Reg CF portal business enterprise launched by its sole owner, Significant Matters, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, as part of furthering its mission to advance sustainable solutions to some of the world’s most intractable problems through the faith-driven community.

A Poor Man Has No Shoes
There are long stretches of endless grasslands and open plains in the Transkei region of South Africa. Road trips in this part of the world were made for random reflections and candid conversations. On one such occasion a group of five of us from the US and South Africa were sharing stories of our efforts and experiences among the endless poor and ever dying in this remarkable country.

Partnering Like Family, Not Donors
I was supposed to be in Zimbabwe this week with a small group of people from the US, Canada and the UK. We were going to get an up close look at Hands at Work In Africa, a group I ran across about a year ago and was deeply impressed with. Like many organizations working with the most vulnerable and in hard to reach places their focus is on children. But what really impressed me was their model; the way they go about helping.
